The new technology is to introduce chip system in football match ball. The officially the world cup 2018 match ball is fitted with an NFC chip. The chip is used for interaction. On interaction, each ball generates a unique identifier, unlocking exclusive content and information about the world cup.
Goal line technology:-
All competition stadiums in Russia are equipped with goal line technology. Goal line technology is that processes in which all information from 14 high speed cameras and sends signals within one second to the referee’s watch indicating when the entire ball has cross goal line the watch alarmed.
Video Referee system:-
For the first time in FIFA world cup history new technology system is launched that is video referee system. These referee’s are at control room and monitoring the whole match .
